ATCC-DYP0730 Human Induced Pluripotent Stem (IPS) Cells
ACS-1003 ™
ATCC-DYP0730 Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) were derived from dermal fibroblasts obtained from ATCC CCL-54 Detroit 532, a human Down syndrome cell line. The fibroblasts were reprogrammed by the transient expression of OCT4, SOX2, KLF4 and MYC gene sequences using non-integrating episomal plasmids. This cell line provides a unique model system for better understanding the molecular pathology associated with Down syndrome (trisomy 21).
Recommendation: Read the ATCC Stem Cell Culture Guide before initiating your cultures.
