Antibiotic Resistance
Multidrug resistant strain.
Resistant to ampicillin, amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, ciprofloxacin, cephalothin, doxycycline, gentamicin,
erythromycin, imipenem, methicillin, penicillin, tetracycline, oxacillin azithromycin, clindamycin, ceftriaxone, rifampin, amikacin and tobramycin.
Susceptible to teicoplanin, chloramphenicol, fosfomycin, mupirocin, netilimicin, streptomycin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, and.
Intermediate resistance to vancomycin and minocycline.
As the guidelines provided by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) state, resistance to oxacillin implies resistance to other penicillins such as methicillin. The MIC values of Streptomycin and Mupriocin have
been tested to be ≥ 1024 μg/mL and 0.5 μg/mL respectively.
