Human Brown and White Pre-adipocytes – Available Summer 2023
Brown adipose cells (BAT) are critical tools for developing therapeutic solutions to metabolic diseases. However, there are few validated cell lines and access to primary tissue is limited. We are overcoming these limitations by developing hTERT-immortalized brown and white pre-adipocytes.
- Derived from a single donor
- Cells express the growth characteristics of a continuous cell but maintain primary cell functionality
- Can be differentiated into adipocytes
