F-12K Medium (Kaighn's Modification of Ham's F-12 Medium) (30-2004) ATCC®-formulated F-12K Medium is a modified version of Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture, tailored to enhance the growth of specific mammalian cell lines, such as ATCC’s A-549 (ATCC CCL-185™). This formulation combines the nutrient richness of F-12 with additional components from Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), creating a hybrid medium that supports cells with higher nutritional demands. Ideal for culturing a range of epithelial and fibroblast cell lines, including those used in cancer research, tissue engineering, and toxicology studies.
