Biosafety Level 2

Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.

Isolation
Contains a full-length genome of SV40-B2 cloned into pUC-19 at the EcoRI site. SV40-B2 was isolated and cloned from a low-passage stock of SV40-Baylor that had been isolated from a contaminated poliovaccine.
Product Format frozen
Shipping Information  Frozen glycerol stock of Escherichia coli containing the plasmid.
Storage Conditions Store unopened frozen vial at -80°C.
Comments
This variant of SV-40-Baylor has a non-archetypal viral regulatory region and is the commonly studied version of SV-40-Baylor. Faster growing than SV-40-B1 in BSC-1, Vero, CV-1, and TC-7 cells.
