Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens (Hedges) Collins and Jones pathovar flaccumfaciens
ATCC determines the biosafety level of a material based on our risk assessment as guided by the current edition of Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories (BMBL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It is your responsibility to understand the hazards associated with the material per your organization’s policies and procedures as well as any other applicable regulations as enforced by your local or national agencies.
2. Using a single tube of #815 broth (5 to 6 ml), withdraw approximately 0.5 to 1.0 ml with a Pasteur or 1.0 ml pipette. Rehydrate the entire pellet.
3. Aseptically transfer this aliquot back into the broth tube. Mix well.
4. Use several drops of the suspension to inoculate a #815 agar slant and/or plate.
5. Incubate the tubes and plate at 28oC for 24-48 hours.
For every order of this item, you must provide a valid Permit to Move Live Plant Pests, Noxious Weeds, and Soil (PPQ 526) obtained from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. We cannot ship this item until we receive this permit.
