The virus can be adapted to grow in chick embryo cell culture. Measles, rinderpest and canine distemper viruses contain a common antigen.

Growth Conditions Temperature: 37°C
Recommendations for Infection: For best results cells should be 24 to 48 hours old and 70-90% confluent (not 100% confluent).
