Introduction

Cell Line Description:

HCC1007BL is a B lymphoblastoid cell line initiated by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-transformation of peripheral blood lymphocytes obtained from the same patient as the breast carcinoma cell line HCC1008. HCC1008 was initiated from a 67 year old Black female with a TNM stage IIA, grade 3 metastatic carcinoma; metastatic site: lymph node. DNA isolated from the cell line HCC1008 is available as CRL-2320D.
Quality Control Specifications

DNA Quality Control Information:

·         > 100 kb in size by agarose gel electrophoresis

·         No RNA detected in the agarose gel

·         A260/A280 ratio ³ 1.8

·         Tested and verified for PCR amplification and restriction digestion.
