Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): MluI--3.1, 0.8; BamHI--2.9, 1.0; NotI--2.9, 1.0. Problems have been reported when using DH5alpha as a host for multicopy plasmids bearing Gm and Tc, but not when TG1 is used. Plasmid useful for vector construction. Contains a gentamicin acetyltransferase (aacC1, gtmR) cassette flanked by multiple cloning sites duplicated in tandem orientation.
