Comments

Restriction digests analyzed on agarose gels give the following sizes (kb): SalI--14.0, HindIII--9.0, 4.5; EcoRI--9.4, 4.4. Integrated proviral DNA FRE-3A. Fisher rat cells infected with 3611-MSV. Constructed by inserting 8.9 Kbp EcoRI fragment containing 3611-MSV This clone transforms transfected 3T3 cells and induces sarcoma in NFS/N mice. Includes about 50 bp of 5' and 1.3 kb of 3' flanking cellular (rat FRE-3A) sequences. The v-raf gene is contained in a 1.5 kb XhoI/BglII fragment of the insert.
