Luciferase Bioluminescent Assays
For in vivo applications, what is the expected level of fluorescence for most imaging systems?

All ATCC in vivo luciferase reporter cell lines are tested to achieve a minimum of 1,000 photons / sec/ cell.  Most cell types can achieve considerably more fluorescence (> 100,000 photons/sec/cell).
