ATCC® TIB-186 ™, IC-21 Cells are cuboidal with thin extensions. The cells will pile on the monolayer and remain round. Attachment is light for the first 48 hours and there are many floaters. By day 3, there should be 40-50% attachment. Cultures only reach about 80% confluence. Cells slough easily and there always appear to be floating cells.
