Seeding Density for CCL-171

What is the recommended seeding density for ATCC® CCL-171™?

The seeding density is extremely important in order for the cells to receive sufficient nutrients and surface area for good gas exchange and growth. For the recommended seeding density for CCL-171 refer to the Certificate of Analysis (COA) to obtain the number of cells supplied in the vial.

Start-Up Seeding Density: 2.0 x 104 to 6.0 x 104 viable cells/cm2

Seeding Density for Subculture: 1.0 x 104 to 6.0 x 104 viable cells/cm2

The Certificate of Analysis can be found on the ATCC website at https://www.atcc.org/products/all/CCL-171.aspx#documentation.
