Applications
YX-type (expression) shuttle vector vector with low copy number
Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): SacI/XbaI--6.0, 1.5; EcoRI--5.4, 2.3; KpnI--5.8, 1.7. The wild type ADH promoter is active when cells are grown in glucose media but can be repressed 2-10 fold on non-fermentable carbon sources. Low copy number shuttle expression vector.
