The order of the major features in the plasmid is: Ustilago maydis ARS - ampR - pMB1 ori - 5' lacZ fragment - EcoRI - SacI - gap promoter -> BamHI - HindIII - hsp70 promoter -> XhoII - hygR - XhoII -> 3' lacZ fragment.
