The retrovirus-derived vectors in which the retroviral envelope glycoprotein has been replaced by the G glycoprotein of vesicular stomatitis virus. Vector can be used in the transfer of an exogenous gene into the cells of non-mammalian organisms.
Contains the immediate early promoter of human cytomegalovirus, the cDNA encoding VSC-G protein and the polyademylation signal of the rabbit B-globin gene.
