KpnI--23.0, 6.6, 5.2, 3.7, 3.1, 0.61 + smaller.
SacI, XbaI and XhoI sites flank the insert. An XhoI digest gives fragments of 8.8, 7.4, and 1.3 kb from the insert. The 8.8 kb fragment bears the entire gene.
