Comments Genomic RNA isolated from a preparation of cell lysate and supernatant from HCT-8 cells (ATCC CCL-244) infected with Betacoronavirus 1, strain OC43 (ATCC VR-1558). This product was prepared using methods known to inactivate viruses. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) at ATCC on the HCT-8 [HRT-18] cell line (ATCC® CCL-244™) used as the host has shown the presence of a putative fragment of Gammaherpesvirus with a ≥98% homology to Human Heparanase 2 (NCBI number NG_023416.1).
