CD56+ Natural killer (NK) cells are the major effectors of the innate immune
system and are important in host defense, cancer, and autoimmunity.
CD56+ Natural Killer Cells are isolated from mononuclear cells by negative selection using immunomagnetic cell separation procedures.
ATCC CD56+ Natural Killer cells are tested by flow cytometry for the following surface markers:
- CD45+: ≥ 90%
- CD56+: ≥ 90%
- CD56+CD3-: Report results
- CD56+CD16+: Report results
