Complete Growth Medium HITES medium supplemented with 20% fetal bovine serum
The base medium for this cell line is DMEM:F12 Medium (ATCC Catalog No. 30-2006)
    To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium:
  1. Dulbecco's medium : Ham's F12, 50:50 mix (ATCC 30-2006)
  2. Insulin 0.005 mg/ml
  3. Transferrin 0.01 mg/ml
  4. Sodium selenite 30 nM
  5. Hydrocortisone 10 nM
  6. beta-estradiol 10 nM
  7. HEPES 10 mM
  8. L-glutamine 2 mM (in addition to that in the base medium)
  9. fetal bovine serum 20%
