Comments The addition of peptone following transfection has been shown to increase extracellular protein expression yields in transient transfection protocols.

HEKPlus Boost Solution should be added post transfection to a final concentration of 10% in complete HEKPlus SFM. The solution contains 0.1% Poloxamer 188, a surfactant shown to enhance cell yield and reduce cell aggregation. HEKPlus Boost Solution also contains human transferrin and recombinant human insulin.

This solution has been optimized for use with ATCC® HEK293T/17 SF suspension cells (ATCC ACS-4500), HEKPlus SFM medium (ATCC ACS-4002) and GeneXPlus transfection reagent (ATCC ACS-4004) to reproducibly express a wide range of proteins at high levels.

Intended Use This product is intended for research use only. It is not intended for any animal or human therapeutic or diagnostic use.
Introduction HEKPlus Boost Solution is a 5% solution of enzymatically hydrolyzed peptone in HEKPlus SFM serum-free, xeno-free, and defined medium.
