Applications
Animals were immunized with a conjugate of keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and a telopeptide having a 3-hydroxypyridinium crosslink derived from the amino terminal domain of bone type I collagen.
The antibody can be used to detect and quantitate degradation products of bone type I collagen in body fluids.
Derivation
Animals were immunized with a conjugate of keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and a telopeptide having a 3-hydroxypyridinium crosslink derived from the amino terminal domain of bone type I collagen.
Spleen cells were fused with mouse myeloma cells.
Genes Expressed
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against bone type 1 collagen amino terminal telopeptide
