Isolation
The nSM gene of the L3 isolate of TSWV was expressed using vector pET28a and bacterium E. coli HMS174 (DE3) and protein purified using His-column.
Rabbits were inoculated with the purified recombinant protein.
The crude serum was cross absorbed with lysed bacteria, and the IgG purified using a Protein A column.
