Deposited As Tomato spotted wilt tospovirus
Agent Tomato spotted wilt virus
Strain antiserum to nSM gene of TSWV strain L3
Applications
The recommended titer for Western blotting is 1:5000.
Plant research
Biosafety Level 1
Isolation
The nSM gene of the L3 isolate of TSWV was expressed using vector pET28a and bacterium E. coli HMS174 (DE3) and protein purified using His-column.
Rabbits were inoculated with the purified recombinant protein.
The crude serum was cross absorbed with lysed bacteria, and the IgG purified using a Protein A column.
