Derived by TC-adaptation of egg-passage A/WS/33 (ATCC® VR-825™) to MDCK cells (ATCC® CCL-34™).
Demonstrates cross-reaction with PR8 and swine influenza. In TC, ATCC® VR-1520™ should be grown in serum free media.
