Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--5.2, 4.6 (doublet); HindIII--8.0, 4.8, 1.1, 0.92; NotI--13.0, 1.7.
This vector was used to generate transposon reporter gene fusion mutants at high frequencies in Vibrio sp. S14 and Pseudomonas sp. S9. It may be a useful mutation analysis tool in other bacterial strains susceptible to Tn10 transposition.
