Cloning into the HincII, PstI, PvuI, ScaI, or SspI sites inactivates ampR.
Cloning into the BalI or NcoI sites inactivates cmlR.
Precautions have not been taken to maintain the F' in the JM109 host. The F' is not required to use this plasmid.
