Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.6; BamHI/PvuII--5.2, 0.5; EcoRI--5.6.
Shuttle expression vector.
Permits expression in both S. cerevisiae and mouse cells.
The EcoRI, SmaI, and BamHI sites are 3' to the unique available in-phase initiation codon under control of the SV40 early promoter.
Constructed by replacing the HindIII/EcoRI fragment of pCYM1 with the HindIII/EcoRI multiple cloning site from M13mp11. The translation start codon has been removed by this process.
