Plasmid linearized with PstI can be used to introduce cDNA libraries constructed in pcD or pcD2 vectors into Schizosaccharomyces pombe, resulting in the formation, by homologous recombination, of concatamers maintained as episomal DNA.
Contains the ars sequence from Schizosaccharomyces pombe and the URA3 gene from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Insertions at the BamHI or SalI sites inactivate tetracycline resistance.
