Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI/EcoRI--2.8 doublet, 0.87; EcoRI--3.8, 2.8; BamHI--6.4.
There is cryptic promoter activity which may be more readily observed with weak promoters. Be careful to do all appropriate controls and map the transcripts.
This is a derivative of plasmids patented by the University of California and is not to be used for commercial purposes without prior arrangement with the University of California.
One of a series of luciferase vectors (ATCC 37574-37584) for assaying promoter activity in mammalian cells.
The insert contains bp -109 to +105 of the MMTV promoter; the 5' boundary is a natural SstI site.
Media ATCC® Medium 1227: LB Medium (ATCC medium 1065) with 50 mcg/ml ampicillin
Growth Conditions
Temperature: 37.0°C
