Comments	Pediatric clone of MRSA The publication supporting this deposit states resistance to methicillin, penicillin, oxacillin, ampicillin-sulbactam, and cephalothin. However, using CLSI guidelines, sensitivity to cephalothin and ampicillin-sulbactam have been confirmed. Absence of pvl gene confirmed by PCR.
Colony Morphology	Colonies on #196 agar have gray, yellow, brown aerial mycelia and yellow brown substrate mycelia. A soluble yellowish brown pigment is produced.
