The P116.cl39 cell line was derived from the ZAP-70 deficient P116 cell line (ATCC CRL-2676) by transfection with a wild-type ZAP-70 expression vector, pcDNA3-mZAP.
P116.cl39 cells stably expresses the ZAP-70 kinase.
The cell line can be used as a control for the ZAP-70 negative P116 cells.

The P116.cl39 cell line was derived from the ZAP-70 deficient P116 cell line (ATCC CRL-2676) by transfection with a wild-type ZAP-70 expression vector, pcDNA3-mZAP.
The vector contains cytomegalovirus (CMV) and SV40 viral DNA sequences and the neomycin resistance gene.
P116.cl39 cells stably expresses the ZAP-70 kinase. The cell line can be used as a control for the ZAP-70 negative P116 cells.
Complete Growth Medium RPMI 1640 medium with 2 mM L-glutamine adjusted to contain 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate, 4.5 g/L glucose, 10 mM HEPES and 1.0 mM sodium pyruvate and supplemented with 0.4 mg/ml G418, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
Subculturing
Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 X 10(5) viable cells/ml. Maintain cell density between 1 X 10(5) and 2 to 3 X 10(6) viable cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
