Comments
|
BCP-1 is a clonal lymphoma cell line isolated in 1995 by serial dilution of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from an HIV seronegative patient with body cavity based lymphoma (BCBL). The BCP-1 cell line is positive for the Kaposi's sarcoma associated herpesvirus (KSHV, provisionally designated Human Herpes Virus-8 or HHV-8) genome at 150 copies/cell. BCP-1 is negative for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), HHV-6 and HHV-7.
