immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against murine beta 7 integrin
Comments
Animals were immunized with cells of the TK1 murine T cell lymphoma.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.
The antibody reacts with human and mouse beta 7 integrin.
It blocks lymphocyte binding to MAdCAM-1, and alpha 4, beta 7 integrin binding to VCAM-1 and fibronectin.
The antibody can inhibit alpha 4, beta 7 dependent binding of lymphocytes to intestinal epithelia.
Complete Growth Medium RPMI 1640 medium with 4.5 g/L glucose,15 mM HEPES, 2 mM L-glutamine, 0.01 mM nonessential amino acids and 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
Subculturing
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
