Complete Growth Medium Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, 90%; bovine calf serum, 10%
Subculturing
Protocol: Remove medium, add fresh 0.1% trypsin for 1 to 2 minutes, remove trypsin and let the culture stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. Subculture every 7 to 12 days.
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:10 to 1:20 is recommended
Medium Renewal: Twice per week

Freeze medium: complete growth medium, 95%; DMSO, 5%
Culture Conditions
Growth Conditions: The serum used is important in culturing this line. Calf serum, not fetal calf serum, is recommended. The serum initially employed and found to be satisfactory was from the Colorado Serum Co.
