    Comments:

This reagent affords high levels of gene expression in a variety of cell types and is suitable for both transient and stable transfection. GeneXPlus works effectively in large scale reactions, producing high protein yields. Since the reagent is composed of animal-origin free components and is serum compatible, there is no need for any culture medium change after transfection.

GeneXPlus Transfection Reagent has been optimized for use with HEK293T/17 SF suspension cells (ATCC ACS-4500) and HEKPlus SFM (ATCC ACS-4004) to reproducibly express a wide range of proteins at high levels.

  • Fetal Bovine Serum (ATCC® 30-2020)

    ATCC® Number: 30-2020
    Quantity: 500 mL
Storage: Store fetal bovine serum at -20°C or colder. Do not store frozen fetal bovine serum at temperatures above -20°C for any length of time. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws by dispensing and storing fetal bovine serum in aliquots. Fetal bovine serum is supplied in PETG plastic bottles.
Applications: Triple filtered through 0.1 μm filters. Each lot of fetal bovine serum is tested for sterility and for the ability to support the growth of several different cell lines using both sequential growth curves and plating efficiencies. Fetal bovine serum is manufactured from fetal bovine blood collected in USDA-inspected abattoirs located in the United States.

  • Fetal Bovine Serum, ES Cell Qualified (ATCC® SCRR-30-2020)

    ATCC® Number: SCRR-30-2020
    Quantity: 500 mL
Storage: Store fetal bovine serum at -70°C in its yellow plastic storage bag. The yellow bag minimizes the effect of light on the serum. If storage at -70°C is not possible, then store at -20°C. Do not store fetal bovine serum at temperatures above -20°C for any length of time. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws by dispensing and storing fetal bovine serum in aliquots. Fetal bovine serum is supplied in PETG plastic bottles.
    Applications:

This serum is tested for ability to support the growth and maintenance of embryonic stem cells in an undifferentiated state. Undifferentiated embryonic stem cells are determined by colony morphology and expression of three pluripotent markers. The results are compared to a control lot of serum. The serum is triple filtered through 0.1µM filters and each lot of fetal bovine serum is tested for sterility. Fetal bovine serum is manufactured from fetal bovine blood collected in USDA inspected abattoirs located in the United States.
