Animals were immunized with c-Met-IgG fusion protein (cellular receptor for HGF). Lymph node cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 mouse myeloma cells (ATCC CRL-1597).

Comments
Animals were immunized with c-Met-IgG fusion protein (cellular receptor for HGF). Lymph node cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 mouse myeloma cells (ATCC CRL-1597).
Complete Growth Medium The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing
Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 X 10(5) viable cells/ml. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 X 10(6) cells/ml.
Interval: Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 X 10(5) and 1 X 10(6) cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Cryopreservation
Freeze medium: Complete growth medium supplemented with an additional 10% fetal bovine serum and 7.5% (v/v) DMSO
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
