Metabolic disorders: Identification and characterization of biomarkers associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes (In collaboration with Dr. Itamar Raz from Haddassa, Jerusalem).
Oncology: Identification of new biomarkers associated with pancreatic cancer for the development of passive immunotherapies, and the design of sensitive diagnostic assays (in collaboration with Dr. Ganepola from Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ).
Infectious Diseases: development of monoclonal antibodies as research tools and passive immunotherapies, design of assays for specific detection for highly pathogenic avian influenza.
