Detailed product information

General

Specific applications
detection of LT toxin
produces protein heat-labile enterotoxin

Characteristics

Comments
The insert contains internal HincII, EcoRI and HindIII sites.
The plasmid exists in DH1 as a multimer.
Digestion of the plasmid with HindIII yields a 0.85 kb fragment containing nucleotide sequence for the entire B subunit and about one-third of the A subunit.
This is a deletion mutant of EWD022 and seems to contain the minimum coding sequence to obtain functional proteins.
This expresses proteins of 22.5 kDa and 11.5 kDa, having both LT and adenylate cyclase-activating activity.
Mycoplasma contamination
