promoter-cloning vector
Comments
There are translation stop codons in all three reading frames between the EcoRI and HindIII cloning sites and the initiation codon for the tetracycline resistance gene.
This is a promoter cloning plasmid vector in which functional promoters are identified by conferring tetracycline resistance.
This was constructed from pPV33 (ATCC 37073) by replacing the EcoRI site with two EcoRI sites flanking a HindIII site.
Media ATCC® Medium 1227: LB Medium (ATCC medium 1065) with 50 mcg/ml ampicillin
Growth Conditions
Temperature: 37.0°C
