Animals were immunized with CCR2bDEF3.L1/2 cells derived from the murine pre-B lymphoma cell line, L1/2, transfected with the human CCR2B cDNA coding region. Spleen cells were fused Sp2/0 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to the human CC-chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2).
Comments
Animals were immunized with CCR2bDEF3.L1/2 cells derived from the murine pre-B lymphoma cell line, L1/2, transfected with the human CCR2B cDNA coding region. Spleen cells were fused Sp2/0 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to the human CC-chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2).
Complete Growth Medium Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4 mM L-glutamine adjusted to contain 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate and 4.5 g/L glucose and supplemented with 25 mM HEPES, 20 pg/ml mouse recombinant Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and 20% fetal bovine serum
Subculturing
Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation and subsequent resuspension at 1 x 10(5) viable cells/ml.
Interval: Maintain cell concentration between 1.0 x 10(5) and 1.0 x 10(6) cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cryopreservation
Freeze medium: Complete growth medium supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
