Applications
The antibody reacts with all cells bearing H-2 of the b haplotype and cross-reacts with the H-2 p and pa haplotypes.
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Derivation
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.

Comments
Animals were immunized with EL4 lymphoma cells mixed with Bordetella pertussis bacteria.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.
The antibody reacts with all cells bearing H-2 of the b haplotype and cross-reacts with the H-2 p and pa haplotypes.
It does not react with the d, f, j, k, q, s, v, u, w1 and W15 haplotypes.
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Complete Growth Medium The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 1 x 10 exp5 cells/ml ay maintain between 1 x 10 exp5 and 1 x 10 exp6 cells/ml.

Freeze medium: complete growth medium, 95%; DMSO, 5%
