Comments
This line was derived from the same tumor as WR19L (ATCC TIB-52).
The cells will pinocytose neutral red and phagocytose zymosan and latex beads.
They will also lyse antibody coated sheep erythrocytes.
They are negative for surface immunoglobulin (sIg-), Ia (Ia-) and Thy-1.2 (Thy-1.2-).
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Complete Growth Medium Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, 90%; horse serum, 10%
Subculturing
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:2 is recommended
Medium Renewal: 1 to 2 times per week
Subcultures are prepared by scraping. Remove old medium, add fresh, dislodge cells and dispense into new flasks.
