Animals were immunized with recombinant human luteinizing hormone/human chorionic gonadotropin (LH/hCG) receptor expressed in E. coli.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells.
The antibody recognizes the extracellular domain (hormone binding domain) of the LH/hCG receptor, (amino acids domain 21-362).
The LHR-29 (ATCC CRL-2685), LHR-74 (ATCC CRL-2686) and LHR-1055 (ATCC CRL-2687) antibodies are additive. They recognize different epitopes.
The antibodies can be used in Western Blot, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry assays of the human LH/hCG receptor.

Subculturing
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml.
Maintain cell density between 2 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
