Two E. coli host strains are provided to allow propagation of the nonrecombinant vector (BNN93, ATCC 47024), or propagation with in vivo selection against nonrecombinants (BNN102, ATCC 47025).

A lambda insertion vector for construction of cDNA libraries with low levels of nonrecombinant clones.
Vector has a unique EcoRI cloning site within the lambda repressor gene.
Cloning capacity up to 7.6 kb.
