YC-type (centromeric) shuttle vector
Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PvuII--4.45, 0.45; BglI--3.2, 1.7; PstI--3.25, 1.65. A YC-type shuttle vector with URA3 selection in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a beta-galactosidase reporter system for visual detection of recombinants, promoters for transcription in vitro, and an extensive polylinker flanked by BssHII sites.
