Comments
|
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--2.0, 1.35; EcoRI--2.05, 1.25; MluI--2.1, 1.15; SstI--1.9, 1.4; NcoI/BamHI--1.4, 1.1, 0.9; NotI/ScaI--1.1, 0.9, 0.8, 0.7. Plasmid useful for vector construction and generation of marked deletions and insertions in cloned DNA in vitro. Contains a beta-lactamase (ampR) cassette flanked by multiple cloning sites duplicated in inverted orientation. The PstI and HincII sites in the bla gene have been removed.
