Comments
|
Constructed using a SalI-containing oligo(dT) primer and adaptors to result in 5'NotI and 3'SalI ends. pMC944 is a YE-type vector permitting expression from the mating factor alpha 1 promoter. Unique XbaI and SphI sites in the promoter and ADH2 terminator, respectively, allow transfer of the expression cassette. The vector does not contain an initiation codon. It must be provided by the cDNA. Verified by PCR to contain clones for B4, D7, enolase, Eg1, and nucleoplasmin. The low abundance Vg1 was not detected.
