This is preserved in a solution containing 10% glycerol and 2.4 M CsCl. The CsCl should be diluted to less than 40 mM before infection. About 20% hamster impurity by in situ hybridization of sorted chromosomes; about 33% hamster impurity by plaque hybridization.
