GenBank Definition
Human a7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor mRNA.
Origin
basal ganglia, 1-day-old infant, less than 6 hr autolysis
Applications
We suggest the use of Y1088 ( ATCC 37195) for amplification, Y1089 ( ATCC 37196) for immunological screening of lysogens, and Y1090 ( ATCC 37197) for immunological screening of plaques. This library has been used to isolate a cDNA for cholinesterase (E.C. 3.1.1.8).

We suggest the use of Y1088 ( ATCC 37195) for amplification, Y1089 ( ATCC 37196) for immunological screening of lysogens, and Y1090 ( ATCC 37197) for immunological screening of plaques. RNA was prepared by the guanidinium thiocyanate method, fractionated by oligo(dT) cellulose, linkered with EcoRI, and sized by agarose gel electrophoresis. The libraries are likely to contain some cDNAs of hnRNAs. This library has been used to isolate a cDNA for cholinesterase (E.C. 3.1.1.8). This library has been amplified once at low density.
