We are developing the Yeast Genetic Research Resource Center (YGRRC), funded by NIH, to support yeast-based teaching, research, and development. The YGRRC presently manages approximately 25,000 genetically defined yeast strains, 400 yeast vectors, 2000 yeast artificial chromosomes (YACs), and 20 yeast genomic and cDNA libraries. ATCC is actively accessioning new yeast strains and DNA materials that reflect current research frontiers to further enhance the YGRRC.
